Lakshmi is the Hindu goddess of wealth and good fortune. The wife of Vishnu, is said to have taken different forms in order to be with him in each of his incarnations. She has four arms here two are holding flowers, and the other two are in the Varada & Abhaya mudras. The Varada Mudra is the lower left hand, the gesture of generosity, charity, and compassion. This sacred hand gesture represents the granting of blessings, wishes, or even pardons. Abhaya mudra, the lower right hand, is a symbolic, ritualistic gesture of the hands often used in a spiritual yoga practice to demonstrate fearlessness, protection, peace, and friendship.
