Wild Woman Wild Thing

Wild Woman Wild Thing is a small business in Indonesia operating since the 1970s. They have been creating Bohemian-style clothing loved by all who enjoy wearing colorful arty clothing.

Batik is an Indonesian technique of wax-resistant dying applied to the whole cloth. This technique originated from the island of Java, Indonesia Batik is made either by drawing dots and lines of the resist with a spouted tool called a canting or by printing the resist with a copper stamp called a cap. The applied wax resists dyes and therefore allows the artisan to colour selectively by soaking the cloth in one colour, removing the wax with boiling water, and repeating if multiple colours are desired.

These clothes are high-quality batiking, you do not need to worry about washing them. Machine wash in cold water, they do not bleed or shrink. We like to line dry them as it is kinder to the fabric, but they may be dried in the dryer. Ironing is not necessary.

The fabric is 100% Rayon & is extremely breathable. We wear them in hot climates with ease.

These clothes are very versatile. They can be worn with jeans or over a black dress.
