Nat Headed Dancer Kalaga
29" HIgh x 20.5" Wide
Nat Headed Dancer is a Kalaga bordered in Burgandy with a gold ring finding at each top end for easy hanging. Nats are often seen in Burmese art on the top of a human or deer face. Nats are honored for protection of the tribe. These Nats represent aspects of nature like the wind in the tree or ripple on the water. It is their religious belief that by paying homage to these spirits, they are ensured a good life and after life.
