Phangphxn is Burmese  Lacquerware
11' HIgh x 8" Diameter.                                  Please refer to the Burmese Laquerware description on the last page. . This piece is a lidded storage jar with an elephant knob. There is a small chip on the lid. It is set up to hang but the string can be removed.  Probably 19th century.
