Stupa is a lost wax technique bronze allowing for fine details.
The stupa itself is a symbol of the Buddha, and more accurately, of his enlightened mind and presence. A stūpa is a mound-like or hemispherical structure containing relics that is used as a place of meditation. The mound itself is said to represent the form of the seated Buddha, meditating and striving toward enlightenment. Finally, the spire represents enlightenment itself, the pinnacle of Buddhist achievement. A great piece for your altar.
