9.5" High with Handle Down( Up is 17") x 10" Wide x 7.5" Deep

This handwoven plaited rattan piece can be used as a storage basket or used as a handbag. The weaving is impecable, even & extremely tight. Plaited baskets are woven with a flat, square or rectangular basket. Both the spider and plaited baskets have warps and weavers. The weavers go over and under the warps, both when plaiting and twining.

They are skilled basket weavers on Lombok, the first island east of Bali.
