This cotton bedspread's designs are appliqued on to the main piece, called Katab. The designs include  trees of life, elephants, horses, camels & cows.    Applique is the art of layering small pieces of fabric cut in various shapes on a base fabric.  The colors are soft muted colors of two tones of stone washed baby blues & rust .
It is a single layer of fabric. It also has loops sewn in the corners for ease in hanging
