Piknik, Burmese Lacquerware Monastery Offering Vessel
18.5" High x 13" Diameter Please refer to the Lacquerware description on the previous page. Piknik is a picnic basket used in monasteries. There is a tray inside for layering things. The design is the zin-me floral style with frolicking elephants encircling the piece and on the top. There are a few rough spots from use over time. Probably 19th century.
